Lagos State is among the 36 states in Nigeria which is popularly called the “Center of Excellence” . It was formerly the capital of Nigeria before it is relocated to Abuja. Lagos state is located in the Southwest of Nigeria. Lagos was created on 27 May 1967. It spans the Guinea coast of the Atlantic Ocean for over 180 km, located to the Republic of Benin on the West and Ogun state on the East.
